don’t call me mcneill. probes the link between cultural identity and surnames. It addresses the phonetic alphabets and pronunciation formulas people invent for themselves and how those well-rehearsed routines are unconsciously handed down from generation to generation across the ethnicity spectrum. Flanked in metallic finery and toting mobile amplification devices, the cast is accompanied by acclaimed electronic musician and dj, The Polish Ambassador.
