may is indubitably busy for cake. we are performing at judson church on monday, may 10, thank you movement research. on saturday, may 15 we will be drinking for a good cause, us, at bar 4. they will be donating a percentage of their riches that evening to cakeface, so please come to park slope and drink up. then we are taking the L to triskelion arts in williamsburg where will try to make people laugh in the comedy in dance festival, may 19, 21, 23. we are explaining all of this in much more tedious detail on our newsletters, like this one, so sign up already.

"i believe in you" curated by AUNTS

cakeface is showing a section of "vice. (with mary kate)" .

"i believe in you" is a performer-driven, dance curation project that is four consecutive evenings of 3-hour events. AUNTS is inviting 15 - 20 initial artists to start out the curation. They all choose one of the evenings to perform, any one of the evenings in fine. They then choose another artist to perform another one of the evenings. That artist chooses another artist for another evening, and then that artist chooses the 4th and final artist in the chain. The evening is in the typical, overstimulated AUNTS style where multiple performances of varying mediums may be happening simultaneously, everyone might be social dancing, or clear lines between audience members and performers are drawn.

All AUNTS events are free and open to the public and everyone is encouraged to bring an item to donate to the Free Bar/Free Boutique, where you can shop and drink for free all night long!
